We got jammed up on 476 north, surprise-surprise. Blue route blows. Typical no reason traffic jam.
We got super jammed up on 76 west. There was road work going on, but miles and miles and miles we were stuck! Not fun. Set us back about 45 minutes.
Then the drive was great through scenic Pa. Farms and trees and even a mountain backdrop.
We observed the cars on the drive. Me and the boy make a mental list of how many are from out of state. We saw Quebec, a rig we followed through the 76 west traffic jam. We saw South Carolina, Maine, Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey, New York, California, Oregon, Tennessee.
Gettysburg awaits us. Historic tours and tales of brutal battles to preserve freedom.
For this afternoon though we are at the pool. We have already unpacked. The food is put away. The kids are draining their energy swimming before supper.
Our cabin is super cute. Small and just right. All wood, rustic in appearance, but has the important stuff (a bathroom, fridge, stove).
This is gonna be great.
